Cut out and glue/tape recycling bin images to the front of cups. Place shredded paper into a wide based container. Bury the recycling cards throughout the paper. Each time child finds a card, they will place into the corresponding cup (recycling or compost bin). Once all cards have been collected and placed into the cups, the child can dump them out on the table. Provide the child with the Sorting Board. Direct them to name the object and then match the card to the it’s proper place on the Sorting Board.
