Unfortunately I had a pretty bad experience here. I made an appointment for a full face wax and to shape my eyebrows, but the actual service felt rushed, and the wax barely gripped the hairs on my face. My eyebrows were not really shaped and I still had a few hairs left on my face. At the end of the service I asked the waxer if she can maybe fix my eyebrows alittle better but she said that due to the fact that I have sensitive skin and my skin was red that she can’t do anything about it. Which I understand, but I just think that a company like European Wax Center would be able to accommodate people with sensitive skin and maybe have a special wax for that. I feel like the waxer kinda blamed her bad service on my skin being sensitive. I have gotten plenty facial waxes at other places and my sensitive skin never seemed to be an issue. I think the waxer I had was named Alexa, I didnt get her name but I saw that name on a name card in the room. She was black with black and green hair and she was extremely nice and so were the ladies at the front desk but I just wasn’t happy with the service and even wanted to cry when I walked out. I ended going to the nail salon next door to get my eyebrows and upper lip fixed up and they did a perfect job and my sensitive skin didn’t seem to prevent them from doing a good job. Unfortunately I won’t be coming back to this place for a face wax.

OMG! Love all these ladies so much! I cannot recommend enough. Kiersten (manager), Jahki (wax specialist), and even the other sweet girl at the desk whose name I can not remember. – cute eyelashes with red accents in them, hey girl!

I’ve been getting waxed here for over a year and my experience with Kara is always pleasant. She always tends to my needs and recommends products or services that would benefit me specifically. My best friend was there a half hour ago. She was running a little late, still in the grace period and was told to come back at 2 pm. The woman at the desk was disrespectful and rude and wouldn’t give her name. She then said Alexis and told another to spray when she left because it smelled like cigarette smoke, mind you she’s not a smoker. Never again!

The young lady had an absolute wonderful personality. I had missed my earlier appointment and I was given an 8:45 pm appointment. Unfortunately for me, I had left my hotel and had to travel to newark….I had reserved a room by newark airport since my flight is early in the morning. So I drove 45 minutes back to Eatontown. Im going to the beach….so I really wanted this. The staff was delightful…. When I get back to Newark…to check…I realized she missed all the important areas that makes a brazilian a brazilian. I had to go behind her and shave. I spent 100 dollars and I still have to shave…NO WAY!! Im sooooooo disappointed! I need a refund for this mess.

I book with Chrissyy every single time I go, she is honestly the best! She’s so gentle, keeps me laughing throughout the session, and does a fantastic job! I hated the shape of my brows before I started going to Chrissyy, and she talked me into trusting her with shaping them. I’m so glad I did! She explained her thoughts on what shape would compliment my face and how she would wax me to achieve the look and I love them! She’s perfect for first timers and those who are looking for someone to trust with waxing again.

Kara is AMAZING!!! I’ve been going to European Wax Center for years. I started in the Shrewsbury location and moved to the Ocean location after my previous waxer left. I’ve been satisfied and had no complaints. I am a pass holder for three services. The place is always very clean, I always feel comfortable, everyone is very nice but hear me when I tell you… I had no idea how amazing my brows could look and how amazing I could feel until I ended up with Kara. My schedule changed so I could no longer see my old waxer. I was scared and nervous to go to someone new as I’ve had very bad brow experiences in the past. Kara looked at me and said “do you trust me?” Why I said yes I don’t know lol! But that was the best decision ever! I am over the moon thrilled. I know everyone there is great but, if you can get in with Kara, get in with Kara!

I get waxed with Chrissyy all the time!!!!!! She’s amazingly talented! Very gentle and kind. Always has a smile on her face and always gives a warm welcoming. I recommend her 100% I will never go to another person again. She listens to me needs and wants. She’s the only person who waxes my eyebrows the right way and gives it a nice shape.
